Over the last six months, Darren has appeared in the new Finnish drama series, Koukussa 2 (Moskito Television) and in the upcoming feature Film Valmentaja (Optipari). Currently residing in Finland, Darren has appeared as a voice-over artist for YLE television channel and is about to appear on the 2018 series of The Voice Of Finland.
Last year, Darren was working back in London where he performed in the revival of Jonathan Kent's production of Manon Lescaut at the Royal Opera House.
He then went on to portray a 1920's New York gangster at The Hope Theatre in Islington in a new piece of writing called Strange The Road written and directed by Lil Warren. Darren was then cast in the film adaption of the same story, produced by Meddle Films and directed by James Warren.
Darren came to the stage as a working musician and he originally began acting lessons to help with stage performance. He found a new talent in acting, but he quickly realised that learning the craft involved a great deal more than he anticipated. If he was going to utilise this craft properly, he would need to spend more time studying.
